Humble Pie

30 Days in the Hole is probably the most enduringly famous song by Humble Pie, whose enduring fame as a band is not nearly what it ought to be. It was the second single released from the album Smokin', their first album after the departure of guitarist Peter Frampton for a solo career.

There was a Humble Pie reunion of sorts in 2001 as a tribute to Steve Marriott tribute, with Frampton playing alongside his replacement Clem Clemson. Unsurprisingly, almost all of the songs they performed are available on YouTube... except "30 Days in the Hole". Has Frampton even played that in public any other time?

This then is that night's performance of "I Don't Need No Doctor", which was the single released from Performance Rockin' the Fillmore, Frampton's last Humble Pie album...
