Has anyone made a note that "geek" behavior is just a variation of standard "guy" behavior?
I mean, really. Is there really anything different about keeping track of the various incarnations of The Mighty Thor than there is keeping track of the batting averages for the members of the Chicago Cubs? Or whatever equivalents with movies, science fiction, toys, computers or whatever weighed against cars, stereos, military memorabilia... blah, blah, blah!
And, yes, I know there are women who geek for things all along that spectrum. I'm just making a note that it's really all the same behavior, regardless of whether some is looked at differently by society or not.
