Teabagging

I can't express how much joy I receive every time I hear about the right wing "grass roots" "Teabagging" movement, evoking the spirit of The Boston Tea Party, an anti-tyrannical revolutionary act of the American colonists.

I know that the right wing's muscles in fighting The Power are going to be weakened by recent years of being in power. They may be off to a good start, evoking earlier revolutionary movements, but with the modern touch of giving themselves a catchy buzzword that can be repeated in the media.

I have some modest suggestions to help further this movement.

Fisting. This would be the same Black Power/Power to the People fist that was popular in the late '60s/early '70s, but now with a media friendly name. I suggest creating a catchphrase like "I'm fisting for freedom!" I also suggest using one of those wacky song parodies, like "Fistin' the Night Away!" Remember, supporters of Obama had used "A Change Is Gonna Come" during the campaign. This is your chance to reclaim Sam Cooke for The People.

Reach-Arounds. This would be a more extensive Outreach program. You would be reaching around the power structure... Reaching around... The Man. Reaching around The Man to find the little man. The little man who is so frustrated that he's ready to explode. You can reach around and help to give that little man some relief.

Rim Jobs. You can't only reach around to find new people. You must work the outer edges, or rim, of your membership. You must keep them soothed. Sometimes you also have to gently probe them in order to properly fulfill their needs.

Get to work!

Fight the power!

The whole teabagging thing is so stupid, it would be wrong NOT to mock it.

Oh, indeed.

I wanted...

I so, so wanted to resist.

But you can't stop the mock!

It's like they're standing in the street in skid marked smiley face boxers, you stop and want to do something else, empathize, sympathize, ignore, but it just... takes you over!
