I've been in a weirdish place, and sadly one with only irregular Internet access at this moment, although that, like a number of things, will hopefully be improving soon here.
I had been reading The DV Rebel's Guide: An All-Digital Approach to Making Killer Action Movies on the Cheap by Stu Maschwitz, which is insanely inspiring. Unfortunately, as with finishing Lakeside, becoming a "DV Rebel" is just outside my grasp at this moment.
It would be the ideal way to go about making Gaunt Land, though, so I hope to get back to it.
I got a request from J. Morgan Neil to contribute a story to a collection of stories about Aym Geronimo. I had been chatting regularly with him at the time of its creation, so I'm excited by the opportunity.
So much so that I'm experimenting in my head - prematurely - about the idea of writing a series of short stories as a "concept" collection. Possibly including a "Gaunt Land" story, as a hint of things to come/trial run. I may also put up a blog to include some first drafts to see how they play.
As to regular blogging, who knows for sure? Right now the idea of trying a podcast again sounds good. I may even try to get Miss Kimberly Rae to participate. We'll see how that goes. Typing out things that resemble "reviews" is still a bit distant from me.
As I've said, I semi-regularly post something on Facebook/Twitter, which I know is still not as good as a blog.
I'll be around with something in the near future... It'll be one of these of another...

I'm so used to you on Facebook now I spent a few seconds looking for the "like" option to this post.
And I always enjoy telling you and Kimberly Rae to get a room.
