Blogoversary Eve

I can't exactly prove it, but tomorrow is my 7th Blogoversary. The first post was among those that didn't make the cut when I deleted hundreds of posts a while back.

Honestly, I have nothing to say about this blogoversary or the state of my blog compared to whatever times I like it better or worse or whatever.

Here, I'll just say this.

Seven years?! Holy fuck! I don't think I even knew what a blog was in 2003. But I know what you mean about not being able to prove it. My anniversary date is March, 2007 but my archives show July as my first posting month because I had three blogs and then deleted two, combined stuff on Cinema Styles, deleted gobs and gobs of posts, and then, finally, changed the dates to July since that's when I started posting about movies exclusively (I was also posting about politics). So, it's all a little confusing.

Anyway, enough of that. Glad to have you around for seven years and hope, at least, another seven follow.

Greg, I don't think I really did either. I think I was mostly trying to impress a group of friends that were rarely, if ever, reading, at that point.

But it really was liberating to delete a ton of crap. Thanks for the encouragement on that.

Kim, oh, I'm a nerd indeed, and I go up and down on what, how much, and why I write on this dumb thing, but I can't imagine giving it up completely at this point. I love you, too...

In 7 years, we'll have a six year old!

that is true..you know in April we will have a newborn....thats what they tell me at least.. It will be all pink and tiny and sleep all day..It will just whine at us whenever and we will have to try and figure out what it wants. Wait are we getting another cat? lol. Just kidding . I think I woke up on the Kevin Federline side of the bed this morning. I didn't even know we had one of those on the bed. We need a new bed!

Apparently we do.

These things should come with a warning label.
